At CleverCards, I was Head of Design for a global payments platform where I led the redesign of digital payments applications, launched several new enterprise products, and was pivotal in establishing a new Mastercard partnership. I onboarded a newly acquired spend management team, and under my leadership, CleverCards improved product cohesion, launched a new Design System, accelerated design + product delivery, scaled and expanded product offerings into new markets including EMEA and the US thus driving adoption and revenue.

Context

When I joined, CleverCards was narrowly focused on electronic gift cards, with limited user reach and untapped revenue. The brand, mobile app and UI/UX were out dated. Scaling required a complete redesign as well as expanding into enterprise solutions designed to manage payments at scale. I led the Product Design team to deliver on a comprehensive spend management platform, a key partnership with MasterCard, a business portal with advanced reporting, new procurement workflows, and overcame regulatory hurdles that come with expanding into new regions.

I mentored the Design team to improve quality, consistency, and efficiency, emphasizing scalable, cross-platform design aligned with business goals. I also translated consumer insights into enterprise-ready solutions, oversaw third-party integrations, and supported expansion into new regions.

I launched the company’s first unified design system across web, mobile, consumer, and business applications, streamlining design and development. I scaled the consumer product to multiple new use cases and from consumer -> enterprise included enterprise portals, bulk ordering workflows, and integrated new spend management capabilities enabling expansion into new markets and verticals culminating in CleverCards release across EMEA and US.
